Speer Wealth Management proudly welcomes Randy Gradishar as the newest member of the Speer Wealth Team. Randy will serve as a Public Relations Executive for Speer Wealth Management. In this capacity, Randy will call upon his experienced background in communications and relationship team building between the public, clients, and Speer Wealth Management.

Randy’s prior experience as a facilitator, business leader, and team player are evident. His collegiate football career and years in the National Football League are legendary. A near-mythic linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeye’s, Randy’s accomplishments in college football were nothing short of astounding. Perhaps the best way to sum up Gradishar’s excellence comes from the personal opinion of former legendary Ohio State coach Woody Hayes, quote, “Randy Gradishar is the best linebacker I ever coached.”

Randy completed his undergraduate degree at Ohio State in education. He is among the elite who were honored to All-Big Ten and All-American. Following graduation Randy began his professional football career with the Denver Broncos; drafted 14th overall in 1974. Randy’s relentless pursuit of excellence and perfection on the football field was realized from 1974 to 1983. He led the infamous “Orange Crush” defense to one of the best defensive records in NFL history!

In addition, Randy was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year, in large part because of his leadership and consummate ability to help take the Broncos franchise to their first Super Bowl in 1977. Many consider Randy the greatest defensive player in Denver Bronco history and one of the best defensive players in the history of the NFL!

After retiring from the NFL in 1983, Randy’s ongoing leadership, determination, and work ethic stayed the course in the business world and volunteer community. Some of his work includes his role as President of the Denver Broncos Youth Foundation from 1984-1992, his service to the NFL Players Special Advisory Council from 1992-1995, his role as Honorary Chair for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, his USO tours visiting our troops in the Middle East, and his current position as Leadership Executive at Phil Long Dealerships; Colorado’s largest privately held automotive group. In 2013, NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell asked Randy to be the Ambassador for the Heads-Up Youth Football Program. He will be working with the Denver PAL (Police Athletic League) creating safer and healthier conditions for our Denver youth.

As with his storied football career, Randy takes his new role as a Public Relations Executive for Speer Wealth Management very seriously. Randy brings his past and current skills, dedication, and discipline to his new position at Speer Wealth Management; drawing on his executive background in leadership, team building, and communication. Randy will serve as a distinguished liaison in Speer Wealth Management’s mission of providing intelligent investment strategies, financial advice, and sustainable income planning.

Randy lives in the Denver area with his wife Beth and has three adult children. His non-professional interests include supporting local non-profits, biking, swimming, world history, and Bible study.
